Service boundaries

Before you compare.

These notes explain what the current preview does. They are not a completed customer service agreement.

01

You choose what happens next

Uploading a bill, comparing plans, saving a report or starting a watch does not authorize Energy Friend to sign an electricity contract, cancel service or make payments for you.

02

Review the evidence

Confirm extracted bill details and read the assumptions and exclusions beside each result. The app does not guarantee savings, a future variable rate, service eligibility or a provider’s acceptance of an enrollment.

03

How comparisons are calculated

We compare matching usage and distinguish billed totals from before-tax offer scenarios. A bill average can include taxes and credits; it is not necessarily an energy-only rate. Missing usage months are estimates, not measured seasonal history. Current-price scenarios do not guarantee future bills or net savings after switching costs.

04

Electricity service has its own contract

If you choose a plan, the provider’s agreement governs electricity service. Review its Electricity Facts Label, Terms of Service and Your Rights as a Customer before accepting.

05

Launch agreement still required

The operating entity and applicable service agreement must be finalized before a commercial launch. Any future paid membership or authority to switch on your behalf requires a separate, explicit agreement; neither is enabled here.
